🌏Efforts are underway to protect and restore more than 50,000 hectares of land across the Eastern Himalayas.🌏
Since 2024, #MountainsToMangroves (@mountainsmangroves) has planted 555,000+ trees and supported 4,650 people across India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. Home to 12% of the world’s biodiversity, from Bengal tigers in the Sundarbans to red pandas in bamboo forests, this region faces urgent threats from climate change and deforestation. Through restoring forests, protecting species, and supporting communities, we’re building resilience for nature and people. Join us in safeguarding one of the world’s most overlooked biodiversity treasures.
