At 81, Pushito, chieftain of Kivikhu village in Nagaland, has witnessed his land change. Crops struggle, water is scarce, and fruit trees are disappearing. But instead of giving up, he plants.

By restoring fruit trees, nurturing fish ponds, and protecting nearby forests with support from Mountains to Mangroves, Pushito is adapting to climate change while inspiring the next generation to care for the land.
