Complete lockdown in 75 districts across India

With over 360 cases of COVID-19 in the country, the administration took this decision after conducting a high-level meeting

The decisions have been taken at a high-level meeting attended by chief secretaries of all states

The districts where lockdown was announced are from states that include Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala

This means that only essential services will operate in these districts

Groceries, fruit and vegetable shops, hospitals, banks will remain open during the lockdown.

Milk supply booths and food delivery services will also remain open.

Director-General of Civil Aviation also said domestic flights will continue to operate from the Delhi airport.

However, the services of Indian Railways and all metros across the country will also be suspended till March 31

Interstate buses will also not be in use.
