Clashes broke out between anti-CAA and pro-CAA protestors in the Jaffrabad-Maujpur region on Feb 23, 2020

The police put up barricades to control the violence but the situation worsened rapidly.

Multiple shops, small stores as well as vehicles like cars and auto rickshaws were set on fire.

According to a senior police officer, around 150 people have been injured in the violence.

According to the reports, Section 144 has been imposed in all 10 districts of North East Delhi.
