Omkar Nath Sharma, a resident of Delhi, is fondly called ‘Medicine Baba.’ A nickname earned by going door to door to collect unused medicines, which are donated to those in need. The 85-year-old walks around the city every day, seeking unused medicines from those who can afford them, distributing them to the underprivileged. A retired lab technician, Omkar gathers medicines worth Rs 5-6 lakh every month, despite his own physical impairment. An initiative he has driven for the past 15 years.
