ART SPEAKS OUT | COP 28

COP28 is hosted by Dubai, UAE from 30th November to 12th December, 2023. And Art triggers our awareness which is urgently needed.

We believe that all environmental problems are far too big for each of us, including politicians, to be tackled alone. We need to break them down to create an emotional impact, find quicker and better ways to act for our common positive future, and get inspired for new storytelling.

ART SPEAKS OUT, a video art festival for our climate - calls international Artists and Content Creators, to submit Video Art, Digital Visual Communication, and Short Films on the core elements of discussion for COP28.

ART SPEAKS OUT brings Visual Arts and Creativity to the connecting intersection of the ordinary citizen with the decision-makers. With UNSDG's at the core of this concept, the video art created will reflect the very notion of accountability through the COP 28 journey and beyond. While the politicians will prepare carefully crafted debates and deliver keynotes to inspire the delegates, artists and talented citizens all around the world are invited to share the inspiration of their own.

SELECTION & EXHIBITION

Final works will be selected by our team with the help of the guest curators. Only 16:9/landscape format videos will be accepted as all will be displayed on TV screens. Any project can be submitted such as old or/and new production, excerpt or row footage from a documentary re-edited as contemplative video

Playlists with the final works will be shown on multiple screens in Dubai, UAE leading to COP28 and streamed on ikonoTV and Pluc.tv platforms.
