Jugal Kishore

About Me

Dr. J Kishore is a medical educator and public health expert; born in a village of New Delhi in 1967. After completing his secondary school education from Jamia Milia Islamia, he graduated in Medicine from Maulana Azad Medical College in 1990 and completed doctorate (MD) in Community Medicine from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He got the opportunity to develop department of Community Medicine in BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Nepal and the Center for Occupational & Environmental Health at Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi. He has worked in various institutions with remarkable capacities. He developed interest in environmental health and completed his Master Degrees in Ecology & Environment and Sustainable Development. Lately he has completed his PhD in Psychiatry under Dr. RC Jiloha. He has been actively involved in Social, Mental and Environmental Health Movement in India. His more than 200 research papers are published in journals, in magazines, and in dailies. He is authored many books on public health, national programs, social reform, and rationality. The most relevant is “Vanishing Girl Child” translated in Hindi “Bhrun Hatiya: Apradhi Kaun”. He is known for the development of public health education in the country. The Asian Art & Cultural Society has conferred “Rashtrya Ekta Puruskar” for his efforts of national integrity, and All India Association of Freelance reporter and Authors has conferred “Dr. S Radhakrishnan Memorial Teacher Award 2007” and in 2009 “Award for social service” and “Award of honor” in 2013. The University of Queensland Brisbane Australia awarded for special contribution to Sub-Project 7: Strengthening the National Capital Centre for Occupational & Environmental Health, Delhi, 1999-2001 and his biographical record is published in Marquis’ Who’s Who in the World 19th Edition 2002 published from USA. IMA South Delhi Branch has given President Appreciation Award in 2016. Due to his scientific advancement he has been elected as a Fellow of National Academy of Medial Sciences (FAMS), India, International Medical Science Academy (IMSA) IAPSM, IPHA, ISCD and IMAAMS have honored fellowship. His scientific and rational outlook attracts international body and made him Director of Center for Inquiry Delhiin 2007-2010, founder of Sabasva foundation and KISHORE Foundation. His mission is to liberate the man through education and development of public health.
