Meet Puneeta, Nisha, Rinku and Pinky who decided to bring change in their village. They started a school enrolment campaign and followed it through the pandemic to ensure more girls have access to education. Making sure that no one is left behind, the girls rallied support with local opinion leaders and campaigned to increase awareness about education in their villages Mishroli and Shahpur Khalwa Patti. Together their campaign has managed to sensitise 1500 people across 10 villages in Uttar Pradesh. Inspired by the campaign which engaged with 218 Mushahar families, 166 children (52 boys and 114 girls) were enrolled in a school.
