I am a New Delhi-based, self-taught fine artist working with acrylic on canvas and water colour on paper. Exploring themes of gender, sexuality and our sense of place, I try to capture the space where queer Indians feel safe, where we feel threatened and what makes us nostalgic about our mega-city. I learn from my surroundings and by observing everyday life - this is what drives me to make my art.
