Chetna Sharma is an Independent Journalist from Jammu & Kashmir, India. She has worked as a TV News Anchor and a field reporter in JK MEDIA PVT. LTD. As a journalist covering social issues, my journey into the heart of Jammu and Kashmir is both daunting and exhilarating. When I set foot in the field of Journalism, I felt a palpable sense of urgency to uncover the stories hidden within its tumultuous landscape. Armed with my camera and notebook, I embarked on a mission to amplify the voices of women whose struggles often remain invisible amidst the echoes of conflict. With each interview, and each photograph captured, I delved deeper into the complexities of their lives, driven by a fervent belief in the power of storytelling to spark meaningful change. Amid adversity, I witnessed resilience and hope, inspiring me to continue bearing witness to their stories with empathy and determination. Interviewing eminent personalities including politicians from J&K made me more confident and has given me a hold of my profession.At present, I am a Doctoral Research Scholar (Pursuing PhD in Mass Communication) from Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh.
