Born in 1981, Chetnaa obtained a Masters' Degree in Painting from the College of Art, Delhi. She has held two solo shows, and participated in several group exhibitions in India and abroad. She is the receipient of the Glenfiddich Emerging Artist award. The core of her art practice focuses on the series of geometricism and lines reflective of the urban metroscape. Her works are largely inspired by the landscape and architecture of her city, keen observations of the metropolis translated into an eloquent schematic of lines and markers.
