Born and brought up in Dehradun, Parth had an early entry into the world of social welfare during his college when he got associated with an environment activism group called Making a Difference now known as MAD by Btd. He went to Colombia, South America after college to pursue his professional internship and came back in 2016. Since then Parth has been running iWoot Media, a production house where he focuses on making documentaries on the social situations in the remote villages of Uttarakhand apart from imparting basic film and media skills to the underprivileged children of these villages. During the second wave of COVID-19, Parth along with a group of young volunteers, founded Doon Volunteers to help manage the distressing health situation in Uttarakhand's villages. Looking towards the future, Doon Volunteers is partnering with Adobe and Aasraa Trust to strengthen the primary and community health centres in the districts of Uttarakhand. DV's main focus will be to equip and train the frontline workers of the mountains - ASHA workers, so that they are ready to handle the future waves of COVID0-19 better.
