Payal Khurana is a creative enthusiast who enjoys the process of turning a raw idea into the final product. She joined theatre to understand the process of developing a creative seed into creating history. In her career spanning over 5 years, she has crafted solid social impact campaigns, ranging from addressing malnutrition to promoting digital literacy. She has worked in various roles, including campaign manager, creative, writer, director, cinematographer, and editor, on various campaigns, documentaries, corporate videos, and commercials over the last 5 years.Her forte lies in bringing relatable narratives to life for different target audiences. Her films have been presented in National and International film festivals. Her recent directorial assignments include UNICEF short documentaries focusing on COVID-19, where she traveled to more than 7 states in the span of 7 months to collect 15+ stories from different parts of India. She created these 15+ short documentaries from scratch, handling everything from concept to editing.She has not only produced documentaries but also campaigns for organizations like BBC Media Action, IPE Global, and the Rajasthan Government, handling the entire process. Her experience is not limited to the social sector; she has also worked with corporate clients, creating commercial and event films.These days she is exploring the advertising world as a Creative Director working with a production house. She believes that stories help us connect and make sense of the world.
