Priyali Sur is a multimedia journalist and international development professional. In both spheres her work focuses on the inclusion of marginalized communities. She has reported extensively on social justice and gender issues in South Asia and Africa, covered the refugee crisis from Europe and the Middle East, and promoted inclusive economic development in Central Asia and Africa as a social development consultant for the World Bank Group. Priyali holds a Masters in International Public Policy at SAIS, Johns Hopkins University in Washington, DC. In 2014, she was selected as a Fulbright Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at the Merrill College of Journalism, University of Maryland. During her fellowship, she focused on gender rights and policy and also studied conflict resolution and peace negotiations. In 2017, the Atlantic Council selected her as one of its Millennium Fellows.
