Mothers, parents, guardians are uniting across the world over the dangers of climate change and advocating a liveable future for their children. Bhavreen Kandhari from Warrior Moms, a group of mothers fighting air pollution in India was appalled to see her daughter experience the laboured lungs of a smoker while living in Delhi, which has some of the dirtiest air in the world. Working with 500 parent groups from 44 countries, including India, Brazil, United States, United Kingdom, South Africa, Poland and Nigeria, they delivered a letter to the president of COP26, Alok Sharma at the recently concluded global summit. Together these mothers are raising their collective voice and sharing testimonies of how their children are suffering from the vagaries of climate change.
