In the second wave of COVID-19, healthcare workers in India have reported violence, misbehaviour and misconduct that they are facing. For more than a year, doctors and nurses have been fighting the deadly coronavirus on the frontline and have had little respite let alone a break. With reports of patients and their attendants letting our their frustrations on the hospital staff treating them, the morale of healthcare workers has seen a set back. Here is Dr Akshay sharing why it is important to show some love and care to these frontline workers.
