Air pollution in India is a complex issue with wide-ranging impacts on public health, agriculture, climate, ecosystems, heritage, and economic productivity. It's also a significant contributor to death and disease on a global scale. In response to the urgent need for a global approach to this problem, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) partnered with the Paytm Foundation to launch the Air Quality Action Forum (AQAF).
In this episode, we look at how this innovative platform brings together stakeholders from various sectors, including the corporate sector, expert institutions, international development agencies, philanthropic organisations, and the UN system, to support the Indian Government's efforts to improve air quality and management.
