Minakshi Singh started her own business Sakhi Saheli Enterprises but found that there were many women in her village who needed a livelihood. Enter Beti Bachao self-help group which enables and empowers women to learn sewing and create their own products. Minakshi helms the trainings and wants more exposure for the women that are working with her. Setting up a shop in the rural setup came with its own set of challenges, but Minakshi inspired the women in Ramna, Varanasi to continue working with her. Today, her group is finding digital avenues to market their products and position their work as a brand.
