It’s 2021 and many organisations in India still don’t prefer to employ acid-attack survivors. So many young acid attack survivors struggle to make ends meet. It is worse enough that acid attacks are still a thing in this country. An acid attack survivor is on her journey to provide gainful employment opportunities for more women like her. Meet Meena Soni, who petitioned Chaayos and asked them to employ acid attack survivors. Things can change if corporate food chains like Chaayos commit to employing acid attack survivors. Chaayos is an Indian brand, they have outlets across the country and if they make a conscious choice to employ acid attack survivors, there will be more and more brands that will follow their steps.
