There is a plastic wave - everyone consumes single-use plastic and never consciously shifts gear to pick up alternatives. We document what's the current condition of the banks of River Ganga and River Yamuna to help devotees, tourists and locals learn about the impact of their plastic footprints. Across the Indo-Gangetic plane, here is what we found out - people want to look for alternatives but until they actually see the extent of their plastic consumption they will not start switching to cleaner options.
