Raheja Solar Food Processing, a start-up by Varun Raheja of Indore harnesses the sun to dry up the farmer’s produce, which they would have dumped due to lower prices, in order for them to be sold as dried products providing them with financial security as well as preventing food wastage. Their threefold goals include avoiding food wastage, increasing farmers’ income, and reduction in carbon footprints.
