Tackling Air Pollution Head-on

<p>The Clean Air Crew bootcamp, a pioneering initiative to train young students in Delhi, was launched in partnership with the Wingify Foundation. This innovative campaign is aimed at upskilling participants in mobile storytelling, focusing on the pressing issue of air pollution in Delhi, particularly construction and dust-related pollution.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The bootcamp's objective was to empower 100 participants from varied backgrounds with filmmaking skills as well as create awareness around clean air to create impactful videos on air pollution, fostering a societal shift towards cleaner air.</p>

Gen Z reacts to Girls on a Mission

<p>The pendemic jeopardised the schooling of 11 million girls in rural India. But Puneeta, Nisha, Rinku and Pinky, from Kushinagar, UP, decided to not let the pandemic worsen the relentless problem of school dropout. The four girls began a school enrolment campaign during the pandemic to ensure no girls in their village would lose access to education. It&rsquo;s a campaign that sensitised 1500 people across 10 villages in Uttar Pradesh and engaged with 218 Mushahar families. Enabling 166 children (52 boys and 114 girls) to be enrolled in school. Winner of the WAN INFRA South Asian Digital Media and nominee of two Scarab Film awards, this documentary heralds their story of change.</p>

In a society where gender and sexuality are still largely taboo, one drag queen in India is defying societal norms and embracing their inner child to become the diva always dreamed of becoming. Going by the drag name Shabnam Bewafa, this drag artist will walk you through India&rsquo;s thriving drag scene. Starting from the young boy who was unable to buy a lipstick to explore their own sexuality to a confident member of the LGBTQI+ community, Nitish shares their journey for the first time on camera. With colourful wigs, glittery outfits, and infectious energy, this diva quickly became a local sensation, performing at clubs and events across the city. But their journey was far from easy. They faced constant ridicule and discrimination from people who didn't understand or accept his identity. Undeterred, Shabnam and Nitish both continued to push boundaries and challenge stereotypes, using they platform to raise awareness about LGBTQ+ issues in India. With the support of their chosen family - a group of drag queens and allies who have become their closest friends - they have found the strength to overcome his fears and embrace his true identity. Living with stigma and prejudices, watch the celebration of a drag queen who thrives on the stage, works a day job and juggles life per usual.&nbsp;</p>
