This pandemic has shown how critical are gender-affirming environments. The difficult circumstances of quarantining with an unsupportive family has affected the mental health of many queer individuals L.G.B.T.Q.

Youth are already a vulnerable population and at higher risk for anxiety, depression, homelessness, and self-harm. In this story, we asked how queer people are dealing with the lockdown. The uphill battle for queer individuals continues as coronavirus cases rise across the nation.
