The average footwear contains plastic soles which when discarded takes up a million years to degrade. Businesswoman Chandni Batra has a solution for you. Her company ‘A Blunt story’ creates footwear with soles made out of rubber, cork, rice husk and other bio-based material. She claims to have manufactured a footwear which is 96% bio-based. An approach towards sustainability, the other parts of the footwear manufactured are all mostly upcycled from the waste.
