Nisha

Nisha was surprised when she saw her teacher skip a chapter during eighth standard. It reflected not only the state of sexual and reproductive health information but how sex education was usually sidelined at an early age in her life. This prompted her to become a peer educator and she trained nearly 250 adolescents on sex education. Today, Nisha is creating ripples in her community by helping young girls and boys find a safe space for their questions about their bodies.
